Rated
as the seventh best golfing facility in British Columbia, The Springs
at Radium Golf Club at Radium Hot Springs in the BC Rockies is a
phenomenal golf course. Built on a plateau above the Columbia River,
and abutting a sheer cliff edge, this golf course at Radium Resort
provides golfers with great views of the surrounding Rocky Mountains.
The Springs Course
follows the natural contours of the land and sets the standard for
excellence among area courses.
The beauty
of the course though can sometimes be the golfer’s biggest hazard.
Concentrating on golf can sometimes be difficult; at this course
though, it is absolutely necessary. The Springs offers a true test
of golf for all levels. Its large water hazards, strategically placed
trees and silica sand bunkers have added more than their fair share
of strokes to golfer’s scores. The traps are of particular note.
Numbering over seventy-five, some are so big that they are multi-tiered
with up to twenty feet in elevation change. Be sure that your sand
game is up to the challenge! Featuring
four tee boxes per hole to allow for play from 5,163 to 6,767 yards,
the Springs Course offers challenges for the low handicapper and
novice alike.
If
you find yourself struggling with your game, don’t worry. The Springs
at Radium is full of golfers with sand horror stories of their own.
You will be in good company. Regardless of how your game goes, this
will be a golf course you will remember fondly for many years to
come.
This summer
spoil yourself. Come play the spectacular Springs at Radium Golf
Club with BC Golf Vacations.
