Off the tee you will have to contend with sand traps waiting for you at 230 and 240 yards from the tee. The choice will therefore be whether to try and carry the danger or land short of it and go at the green with a mid-iron. If you stray a little off course you can still get onto the green in regulation but you may have to get creative to avoid the bunkers that surround the green and the apple trees that line both sides of the fairway all the way to the hole. Clearly the hole is open to a number of different strategies where power or precision both has their advantages.
